I've just been notified that two of my oxygen sensors need replacing (bank 1 sensor 1 and bank 2 sensor 1).

Do I have to buy these parts from Lexus (they are very expensive!) and how easy are they to fit myself ?

The car is a 2000 RX300.

Thanks in advance.

I think these use a toyota specific type of sensor ie not a standard one, I think they are Zirconium or something. Whats the engine code or first part of the chassis code?

Easy enough to swap out if you have the parts.

I doubt there is anything wrong with them though! Usueally a VERY GOOD thrash sorts out emissions failures.
