Rear diff temp warning light problem

Hi, can anyone help. Today the rear diff temp warning light came on, according to manual should seek manufactures help immediately. Can anyone tell me why this light may have come on. Could it be just that the diff oil is low or maybe a faulty sensor?

What model does he have?

Does the light look like the one next to the oil can?
