Silver GTR pumping out black smoke.. Sandbach

Followed a silver Nissan GTR the other night and everytime it accelerated a big cloud of black smoke came out the back and it sounded like a lorry. Surely a car that new shouldn't do that?

I have also seen this on a gtr going up the m40 a few months back. Didn't look good.

It could be where it has been re mapped and is running a bit rich

Agree! IF smoke was blue, time to check the turbo!

the one I saw wasn't a little bit of smoke, it was lots and lots, like you couldn't see the car properly on the other side of the motrway for the smoke lots...

Certainly wasn't just smoke from running a bit rich!

De-cat exhaust often makes turbo smoke a lot more. It'll be overfuelling too by the sound of it. Nothing major to worry about.
