Thanks fella's
Whats the score with remapping them? is it worth it for UK fuel?
If so where and how much?

The word on the Legacy forums (UKLegacy) is that Bob Rawle is the man for remapping these cars. Not sure where he's based, although he gets great feedback. I run mine on VPower which also seems to be recommended on there. It is important to run it on 99 however as they're mapped for 98+ RON I believe? drivingcool

As long as you run it on vpower or tesco 99 there is no need to remap for uk fuel

Its actually worked out more of a bargain than I first thought. £3470 on the road in the UK. So by the time I stick a Cat 1 alarm, delimit/ MPH convert and underseal its still just £3800.
I just hope its a good drivebiggrin

I am and I'm not spin if that makes sense.

I've still got a £4k budget but i've not got the balls to take the plunge and do it. Plus I think I was setting my sights a little high as the ones I liked were coming in a little over budget.

Would still love one though. Had been meaning to email you to let you know and find out how you were getting on.

Have you had a look here? http://www.tbm-int.co.uk

My brother bought his GTB there last year. The guy always has a few Legacys in stock

Just seen you're in Scotland, might be a bit far.

I rang him originally, he wouldnt talk and arrange a sale over the phone. He said it was better I went all the way down there, which by then your pretty commited to buying if its any good. I wanted to know about discounts but he really was not intrested. So i went elsewhere.
The cars were all about £5k, and that was without an alarm, although they do look like good grade cars.

Though i'll bear in mind what nottyash said about them when he contacted them. Couldn't really be further away though, lol
