How du mean??

One guy stacked his Z3, which is how we come to get half a days track, and there were a few tw*ts out there, some got black flagged and sent off but all in all a good day ;-)

What sort of times is the car doing round there??

Looks good smile

As for the idiots...thankfully most of them crash in the morning, or get too tired to carry on for the afternoon...

1:34 is pretty quick! You're almost in the running to race in the special GTs!

Not bad is it. Thats with a passenger and poor quality tyres as well!! lol

The DC5's best so far round Combe is a 1.18.

We would love to get into the competitive side of things and get our race licences but you have to have such deep pockets!! :-( Plus we couldnt bear to mark any of them, whether it be our fault or someone elses :-/

1:18...on road tyres?

Racing isnt that expensive! And you will find Combe is a gentlemans racing circuit....very rare someone else hits you....but pushing yourself to the point of a loss of tallent is another matter. Its all well and good to go on trackdays, but racing is where the real buzz is!

Oh, i was led to believe it was really expensive.....maybe we should look into it a bit more then ;-)

The DC5 is running on Maxsport RB5s?? They are a knida cheaper version of R888s. They are Rally tarmac spec tyres so are road legal http://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/images/product/produ...

They arent a bad tyre at £55 each! Only pity is that they dont do them small enough for the Corolla :-(

They arent too good in the wet ;-) and they make ALOT of noise!!

It depends what you are racing. Something like Classic Touring Cars or Stock Hatch is relatively cheap.

Well after spending the day at Combe yesterday and watching the different races we have decided to look into getting our race licences and taking part in the Castle Combe Saloon Car series ;-) Both the Corolla and the DC5 can race in this series ;-)
