I'm hoping to view a couple of RX7's this week to see if I can be tempted by something with forced induction wink I have found an example that looks to be in excellent condition and is just down the road!

The seller has been very honest and admitted that a leak has appeared within the last couple of days and believes it to be the radiator ... Out of interest, how much would a replacement radiator cost fully fitted?

Also, this particular car doesn't have a recent compression test, which worries me! How easy would it be for the current owner to obtain a compression test? Is it expensive to carry out?

Any help would be hugely appreciated, even if it's only estimates thumbup

It is a quick job to do, much easier to do from underneath the car, but using a rotary compression checker isnt absolutely necessary.

Shouldnt take more than 30 mins to do, so my guess is about £30 all in.

Have you joined the mazdarotary web site as a guest yet? If not I would suggest you join, there is an absolute mine of very usefull information and members who are always willing to offer help and advice to potential new RX7 owners. I am sure you must have done some research into these cars but if not buy with great care.

Dude as your in south bucks give Hayward rotary a call they are just outside Reading.

If you buy a good one you are laughing, buy a wrong'un and your in for a whole world of hurt!.

If your gonna change the rad, do so for a KOYO rad!, extra core size will give you a little added security as the stock one is pony.

Get over to FDUK too on tinterweb, some very knowledgeable guys on there aswell.

Post up if you buy one I miss mine so much!, once you own one you will always want another ;-)

Regards

Matt

Id also say that getting across to See Carl is a good option. www.mazdarotary.co.uk

However Id think twice about fitting the Koyo Rad. Personally I think they are poo!
