fto mivec rear window ariel
Discussion
hey guys
my GR is on its last legs and the mot is up in november and as the alternator just packed in for a second time since iv owned it i decided it was time to let go..
i had a vtr for sale and a guy in lincolinshire was after one with a mivic for sale so we just did a swop
.. iv noticed the radio signal is crap and the ariel is mounted as part of the rear window ( the gr had a normal ariel mounted outside on the passenger side rear)..
how can i get a better signal from it?
cheers guys

Not sure if this will be of any help but...
My Forester has the aerial on the side windows and uses a signal booster that needs power. Take out the radio and see if there is a wire not doing anything. If there is it need to go to the switched live.
The other thing to check is if your head unit is JDM. If so it will need a band expander
