Scooby WRX autos, good / bad?
Discussion
we had one for a year- not the fastest of scoobs but it does suit the small td04 turbo perfectly.
on the road the ratios are well spaced to give a good torque spread.
I,d say once rolling more than fast enough to keep up with modern traffic with reasonable 4wd handling too.
if outright speed is.nt your thing you,ll love it

Is there a particular reason why you want an auto?
Reason I ask is I have previously extolled the virtues of a manual vs auto gearbox quite aggressively, without realising the person in question only had one leg...
Lol oops! Main reason is wife only has an auto license, she has to be able to drive it on occasions Reason I ask is I have previously extolled the virtues of a manual vs auto gearbox quite aggressively, without realising the person in question only had one leg...

My bm should do over 140mph, I'm rarely over 90 and even now it's probably rarely over 70!on the road the ratios are well spaced to give a good torque spread.
