The EVO X, talk to me folks.

Always liked the look of them, however the last few yrs have been tied up with the GTR, 350z and 370z.

But, had a good look round a Evo x police interceptor vehicle yesterday, no wasnt being arrested, and really liked the look of it.

So, which one to go for, 300, 340 or 360.

Must have flappy paddles box, does that narrow it down.

Over to you folks, let me have your thoughts.

If you need the SST box, then you have three options:

1) FQ-300 SST - torque limited in first gear and generally underpowered (for an Evo). Has literally no sound from the exhaust;

2) FQ-330 SST - slightly better performance than the FQ-300 SST, still very little sound from the exhaust; or

3) FQ-300 SST and modify to 400 bhp; costs a few grand to fit an oil cooler to the gearbox, exhaust parts and remap, but at least performs like an Evo should. You can probably forget Mitsi entertaining any warranty claims on the gearbox or engine though.
