hi i have a 94 mark 1 wrx sti im looking to take power to 400 bhp if im right all i need is a stronger gearbox (would a 6 speed be a good idea ?) turbo, adjustable fuel pressure regulater and a remap now where to get the work done im in norfolk but dont mind travelling to the right place what do people think of the scooby clinic XTR billet turbos any good ? i have about 5-6 k maybe alittle more to spend could i afford a forged engine rebuild plus the right mods for say 500 bhp ?

Shooting for 400 without a forged engine is asking for trouble imho, I'd get the strongest engine you can and go from there personally.

do a search for API performance he is nearer you,

You've got better builders closer by than having to go all the way to Scotland or sunny Chesterfield.

Talk to Mark at Lateral Perfomance or David at API. They aren't the cheapest around but they do a fabulous job and know their stuff both on engines, gearboxes and Turbos.

When you've done your rebuild come and see me for a remap. wink

They're not cheap but you won't find a better tuner than Roger Clarke Motorsport
