The Ninja 2 is not too loud on tick over, but has a good loud roar when you are booting it. Its only 4.5 inch though, but I doubt you'll get a 6 inch tail pipe unless you go custom.

not sure i would chop up a Ninja back box (they are very nice and well made IMO - i had one).. also, is 6 inch not a little too big wink ... i dont think changing the size of the can will change the sound at all...

If you want to emphasize the exhaust look then get an angled back box as these seem to look bigger IMO... Also, if you start welding 6 inch paint cans on the end, it may start to look at bit naff... Get yourself a nice Afterburner Vortex or Ninja wink

A twin exit back box is very quiet at idle but still loud when floored

e.g H&S one here

Only problem is they are more expensive than a single exit. The standard H&S exhaust isn't too bad either.

surely this is a joke post.

its stupid things like this that give imprezas a bad image. you

might as well get neons and random shopping list on the doors of stuff you dont have if you really want to ruin it. just watch the floor does`nt fall out when you hit the nitrous.

RB5320, good choice of car, when will I bump into you at a track day? Only ever seems to be Evo drivers at the ones I go to.

Re exhaust, Hayward and Scott are great, but Prodrive upgrades are subtle but punchy when floored. Anything over 4" or anything at a funny angle is surely just for the attention seeking dross?

i will try and take it to a track day or 2 next year, i just never get a chance to look up any events. i would be after one in the southern region, which do you attend?
