RAC Trackstar or Tracker - however, neither made a difference to my insurance... Not sure I would bother TBH...

Forge DV's are good (I had one on my WRX) but they are not that good for the engine.

Hello and welcome

Turbo timer - Don't bother. Not really needed. Just let it idle for a couple of minutes after ragging it. Or drive off boost for the last few miles of your journey.

dump valve - Again don't bother unless you really like the sound of a vent to atmosphere valve. The standard recirulating valve does a fine job (unless it's buggered, then just get a new one).

Tracker - errrr don't know

My turbo timer normally only gets used in this weather to get a bit of warmth into the car, and on the very rare occasions that i do use it for it's intended purpose i could just as easily wait for 2 minutes, it is much more important to have a set warm up and cool down routine when driving. Also it will put probably put your insurance up, and there is a dubious grey area in the law about leaving a car with the engine running.

I have RAC Trackstar, very good service, but unless you need a tracker for insurance purposes i am not sure i would bother unless i had the money to burn.

Dump valve, up to you, the standard recirc valve does a more than satisfactory job.

For the money you'd spend on those i would say a fairly large outlay for very little practicle return.

It is however your car so do what you want. wink

Most insurance companies won't cover you for theft of, or theft from the car, unless you have an approved Tracker fitted. I've used both Traffic master ( formerly trackstar), and Tracker horizon. The Tracker horizon is better, by virtue of the fact that should your car be moved without the engine running, you get an automatic phone call about it. You then choose from a voice prompt menu, and Tracker deal with it from there. As for the BOV ( dump valve ), I'd say stick to a decent Jap brand, and you'll be fine. I'd rather fit an oil temperature gauge, than a turbo timer.

Not true, both Elephant and Admiral (who do own the former) don't care.

I used to have that restriction but for the last 2 years it hasn't been a problem. Still covered for theft, even without a tracker. I just have mine as peice of mind.
