My apologies if there is a thread already or this is the wrong forum but any advice or horror stories?

I'm the happy owner of Pug 107 (my second) and now thinking of going smaller (yep really) with an iQ but want to know if paying more is worth it.

A few months ago had a test drive and wasn't happy with the handling, the 107/C1/Aygo handles so much better but then maybe I was wrong and am trying again.

I get my thrills in proper cars before the slagging begins.......

Really great town cars, the wheels right on the corners are awesome for parking in tight spaces, my mrs amazes me with the spaces she manages to park in/get out of at times!
not sure on handling against other small cars but ive always enjoyed driving it when i get my hands on it.

despite what people think you def can get 4 people in them aswell, I'm 6'1 and have sat in much bigger cars with less comfort in the back!

i really like them, and have quite happily done over a ton (indicated) on the mway before in her 1.33l (although i wouldnt want an iQ if MWays were a regular journey for it!). mpg is pretty good aswell apparently.

If i could afford a third car (for myself) i'd consider one, just for the amusement of putting them both in the one parking space biggrin

I enquired after an iQ about 6 months or so ago. I read the brochure cover to cover, and apart from the space, one of the benefits of moving the wheels to the corners of the car is apparently so it handles better? But that could just be sales rubbish..

I am in the process of buying one and will be hopefully picking it up next thursday or friday.
I was impressed on my test drive and I had a concern about handling but I tried to change the my driving style abit to get the best out of it.
It seemed to sit at 80 on motorway and the MPG was good.
The one I have bought was registered in July so just qualifies for 5 year warranty.
I have gone the Iq squared model because you get loads of extras it is like mini Lexus.
What i like no tax and reduced insurance and lower fuel costs.

Here is an update.
I have done about 350 miles since last thursday and i am impressed with how deals with all roads.
I was concerned with the windy conditions in last 3 days but it has coped very well.
With steep inclines and overtaking you sometimes need to change down
I am getting 47 Mpg and I can see me hitting over 50 or higher, you have to change your driving style less of the loud pedal.
It is quite fun to try to get a good Mpg(Hopefully saving money)
The Gizmos(rain sensitive wipers, and auto lights) are great and stereo is good.
So I am very pleased with my purchase and it may be not a performance car but it is a fun car and frugal
