A jap meet in northants!!

Myself and a few mates have organised a jap meet in rushden northants (details below) everyone welcome to this family friendly pub meet, any questions feel free to ask.

If you're in and around Northants anyway you could concider joining BABS (Beds & Bucks Scoobys), and they unoficially incorporate Northants scoobys. They are an established club/forum, and they have regular meets and do other good things at venues and shows all around the home counties.

What i find odd is that with the amount of scoobys/motorsports in and around the Northants it's surprising that Northants scoobys never took off and became one of the bigger/better scooby clubs/forums in the country. Shame really .

Hi there BABS is a great forum/club the couple who run the club are very nice(karen and brooksie) and i know them very well,but that's just for subaru's this meet is all about different jap cars,if you like you could always put a thread up about our Jap meet on the 27th February at 13:00pm at the needle and awl,and if we get a good turn out and people are interested we could always come to one of the BABS meets,what you think???
I used to be part of Northants scooby's, what was your name from there i used to own a P1 when i attended the meets at the Q/E

I am already a member of BABS and knew about Northants Scoobys but being a member of a whole bunch of other forums including PH for a long time, and in reality there are only so many you can join and contribute to meaningfully unless you spend your life on a PC. I've been really ill for over 8mths now so i've not been on any forums much at all however, now that i'm recovering i need to get back to that.

I'm an authorised trader on SpecJap (Yorkshire) as well which is for all Jap motors but not been there much either so i really need to get things sorted.

If Northants scoobys were to start up again in their own right then i would join and make it my main club/forum, and probably be on there as an authorised trader as well.

You're probably better off asking BABS directly yourself if they will post up details of your meeting.

Sounds like you have had a sh#t 8 months in being ill but glad you are getting better and on the mend,
hopefully if you are well enough would be great to meet you at the needle and awl meet, the numbers for the
meet is looking good so far.

Hi mate yep all still going ahead looking like 10-15 jap cars will be attending so should be a great meet, fingers crossed for the weather though, are you local,and what car you own?

GREAT meet today considering the bloomin weather but saying that jap car owners are hardcore!!!:-)

PMSL, it was total sh*t weather and was suprised that 14 cars in total turned up,roll on the sunshine and warm/hot/dry weather lol.
There will be another meet next month will post up details soon buddy
