I bought myself a Lexus IS200 sport a few weeks ago and noticed that when I put my foot down the car pulls to one side, then pulls back when I take my foot off. After a bit of reading up on the problem it was suggested that it was because there were different tyres on either side. I changed the tyres last week and everything seemed ok, but now it seems to be pulling to one side again. Could it be the brakes binding on the rear? They do get very hot, but one side doesn't seem any hotter than the other.

Any ideas?

Have you had the geometry checked by a decent place? I'd start with a trip to somewhere like Wheels in Motion.

Thanks for that.

I didn't realise that a bad geometry setup could be the cause, but then I do know nothing. I was planning to pay Tony a visit someday anyway, just looks like I'll be doing it sooner rather than later.

I shall report back on my findings!
