2004 impreza hazard light switch

I'd never thought about it before until it was pointed out to me that the hazard light switch on the dash (the one between the air vents) doesn't light up with the rest of the interior switch gear when the lights are on, is it just that it isn't an illuminated switch on any of them or is mine broken?

Nor do foglight switches from memory.
