Are XL (extra load ) tyres need on 03 Impreza?

Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone knows whether XL tyres are needed on an 03 Impreza Sti and if I should go for 91Y or 94W or 94Y spec. Looking at Conti Sport Contact 3s or 5s/Goodyr Eagle Asymetrics I've been googling hard and checking out scoobynet but it doesn't seem clear cut.

You dont have to fit XL the standard RE070 on my 05 STI the load index was 90 I,m now running 18" wheels with Michelin pilot sports fitted think the load index on these are 94
