Funny how they have also decided to copy the logo for FootJoy - the golf shoe manufacturer. There's bloody hundreds of 'em out here, normally carving you up at every opportunity... though that doesn't help you much as I am in the UAE now. Sorry mate.

Which engine? I chug around at work in an 2.8d Hilux, slow old barge but not bad to drive apart from that.

I've got a Blue over silver 1996 3.0Ltr Turbo Diesel Automatic SSRG. This is based on the Landcruiser chassis although it's still called a Hilux Surf. Winter pack, adjustable suspension (still working) electric everything, multimode AWD, etc etc... It's very well appointed for an old agricultural vehicle and comfortable.

I've only had it a few weeks and it's already taken me to the south of spain and back, and scotland and back without missing a beat. It rides nice and will do over 400miles to a tank at a steady 70-75mph.

Everybody should have one. I absolutely love it!! biggrin
