And yes the brakes all fit. As do many parts like hubs and driveshafts. Even parts of the exhaust.
Based on same year parts and the same year vs year rules as the impreza.

The Forester board is your best bet http://www.subaruforester.org/vbulletin/f75/ but also check out Opposed Forces. It lists parts for all Subarus and tell you what parts are interchangable http://opposedforces.com/parts/forester/
Regarding brakes , if you have 2 pots on the front, 4 pots will bolt straight on (you'll need new discs obviously). Brembos might need a fitting kit and the same goes for the rears if you want to have 2 pots on there.
