I'm having trouble replacing the indicator bulb on my 2003 Z4.

On the front indicators, there are two bulbs, and it's the rearmost that's gone. I've managed to replace headlight bulbs before (lol, with a struggle!) but this one has me.

So far, I've removed the flap, then the little box unit, as if replacing the headlight bulb. It's easy to see where the wires go for the dipped and main beam bulbs, etc, but I can't for the life of me see where the indicator (rearmost one) goes.

Can anyone offer any help or advice? I don't mind tinkering and learning as I go. It really amazes me at how awkward replacing even headlight bulbs is. I've done that a few times now and it's not so bad, but to begin with, I was cursing, scraping my hands, etc smile

Since this post is ranked in google for "replace z4 indicator bulb", I thought it would help someone in the same boat as myself.

Solution is on page 93 here: http://www.z4-forum.com/howto/2005_Z4.pdf

It's probably because we BMW drivers never use our indicators. ;-)

Haha, true. Still, good to know it's working, even if I never use it smile
