Been toying with the idea of one of these for a while now for my 130i, to unleash the straight 6...

Should I go for it?

I don't want it to get too tiring at low rpm - what's it like at motorway speeds?

I have a BMWP exhaust and air box fitted to my 125i and I'm very pleased with the results. Sounds a lot better when accelerating. At low to medium speeds - town and main road speeds - on light throttle, its not much different to standard (at least on the inside of the car). At motorway speeds I think it is fine up to about 80 - its noticable but in the background. Above 80 its a bit more intrusive - might not want to do many miles at those speeds. Of course you could just turn up the radio... And its all a bit subjective.

If you want to try first - ask if anyone near you has an exhaust who would take you out to demonstrate.
