I get bored of cars quickly and tend to chop and change ever 6 months or so, meaning that sometimes things like MOT's and Brake Fluid Changes are not something I have had much dealings with.

My current car - z3 3.0, is now due for its brake fluid change.
The light came on the other day, and it is 2 years since the last one.

The brakes have been replaced within this time.

Will doing a brake fluid change as due make the braking feel any different?

If the fluid was changed two years ago then its unlikely.
If it has been in the system for ten years and is like porridge and full of water, then it will feel different.
I changed the fluid on my old 325iSport for motul racing fluid and the pedal did feel firmer with more feel.

As above. You won't feel any difference. It's a safety precaution based on the recommended life of the fluid.

You'll tell if the car has been driven particularly hard (i.e. track day driving) and it's OEM fluid. Brake fluid is hydrophilic so it will absorb moisture and degrade over time.
