New Z4 - Replacing Run Flats with Standard Tyres (warranty)

Hi,

I have 2 Z4's a 2007 reg, and the New 2010 reg.
I replaced the run flat bridgestones on the 2007 plate with Falcon 452 and it transformed the car. I would like to do the same on the 2010 model but will this affect the BMW warranty??

If so why?

I asked about this when I picked mine up a couple of weeks ago. I was told that essentially as you would imagine as long as you change all 4 tyres and don't mix them up, and inform the dealer prior to the change it's ok from a warranty perspective.

As per the above. The only other thing I would mention is to have a quick word in your insurers ears and get them to confrim in writing that they are happy.

It's a slim possibility, but you wouldn't want them using it as a loophole should something happen.
