Crankshaft sensor replacement Alpina :B3.

[mikial]

Any help appreciated, BMW part No/ 1744492 . Siemens part no/5WK96021.

Has any one here replaced this sensor, (car is Alpina E36 B3 3.2 1996. M52 engine.) I have researched but am discovering part is obsolete and needs to be upgraded along with a wiring harness.

Thanks in anticipation.
