So spent a fortune getting the Z4 in tip top shape...

Only to find my iPod FM transmitter has kicked in and I need to resort to the old CD! So i burn some playlists, put one in, enjoy it a bit... go to change it and press the eject button and it won't eject. It says 'no disc' - but there is one because when I press mode it plays the fking thing!!!!

Will it eject, will it fk?!

I hope they are some of your all time fave tunes that you'll never bore of!!

Sorry chum, same thing happened to my old Focus ST! Less than 6 months old, loaded up the head unit with 6 cd's and not one of the buggers would eject!!

That was fixed under warranty though..

Take it to an audio specialist probably best?

AB,

I'm sure that I've heard about people resetting BMW hi-fi (like you would restart a PC) by pressing a sequence/series of buttons on the head unit - or, failing that, disconnecting the battery to remove power from the car then forcing a reset when it is reconnected. Hope that this might be useful - and a search on a BMW-specific forum provides the detail you need.

Cheers Del, appreciate you taking the time to reply.

I'm getting bored of listening to last months top 40 now laugh

Will do some research now. I owe you a beer if it proves fruitful!
