Pathetic how?
Too warm, too cold, doesn't control the speed? When you set it to 22ºc it goes to 25ºc?
Have you set the centre vents up properly??
You do realise this is an independent temperature control for the air that blows in your face? So when it is -10ºç outside and the car is pumping hot air in you can have cool air on your face, or when it is 30ºc outside and the car is pumping in cold air you can set it so the centre vents are slightly warmer so you don't get ice cream head!!
But without know what is 'pathetic' I am just guessing?

One issue I have with mine is 16degrees is too cold and the fans blast yet 16.5 is a touch too hot and fans are low so I override the climate and put it on 16.5 with higher fan speed. Or 16 degrees with less fan speed.
Id like a fully variable temp or one extra setting in-between these two. Apart from that eegas every two years

I have always left mine on 21ºc and then adjust the centre vent, was annoying and in the iDrive on the E60 but think it is a physical button again on the F10? Can't remember now, but sure when the car first arrived I remember seeing that and being chuffed it was back as a physical control.
