Any updates for the CIC (latest) navigation?

My 09 plate E61 has the new CIC nav, are there any nav updates available and if so are they just map updates or is there any new functionality to be had?

Finally how much is an update likely to cost and is it a case of buying a DVD or do they actually update the hard disk directly?

Thanks!
