Disks and pads all round
Change tensioner as its rattly on start up

Can't you take care of the oil service and brakes yourself? Neither are difficult or time consuming and could save you a fair old whack off the bill.

It's about what you thought, i bet the gearbox oil was a quite a chunk of it, i think there are 7L or more in there!

Live down South, Use Chrism Plummer which is who the cars with at the moment.

I use him too. Invoice last week shows £48/hr labour rate. Insp 2, supply/fit new front droplinks, brake fluid change, some investigation work, door handle fix, supply and fit oil sensor - £550 on an E46. The parts on the extra were about £180 ish.

Just Checked £12 per litre.

That right, plus VAT, he charged me 3.5 hours for that lot which seems quite reasonable to me. God knows how much it would all have cost at a stealer.
