530d m sport battery problem

Hey, just bought a bmw 530d m sport, 2nd day of having it and when i went to start it a light appeared on ma dash saying HIGH RATE OF BATTERY DISCHARGE. Does anyone have any idears of wot the problem could be thanks

I had that with my e60 535d after a service - I took it back and it was sorted out with no charge (pardon the pun) - seems to be just a glitch

I had this on my 550i. Turns out one of the map reading lights was on in the back and was draining the battery over night. Check everything is turning off.

Had the same problem on 535D. Apparently the car is sometimes not switching off (light near gear stick a goo indication). Testing has not revealed the cause, but some suggestion of problems with the intelligent battery sensor lead.
