Greetings from a defector!

Afternoon!

Have just come over from the VAG forum having purchased an old snotty 325tds touring (1997).

She needs a bit of bodywork TLC around the bottom door corners where theres a smidge of rust. Also a bloody good T-Cut and polish will bring her Boston Green coat up a treat. Inside looks all clean and tidy which is nice.

And I'm very pleased with the straight six diesel, never expected it to sound quite that nice and pull so well being a dirty oil burner. Certainly knocks my old A4Tdi into a cocked hat.

I have no doubt i'll be popping in here over the next few weeks/months asking for advice on niggles.

Friend of mine has a '94 325tds that's been in his family since new.
It's a bit scruffy now and bits are starting to fall off, but he can't bear to part with it.

I've driven it a few times; swift, comfortable and yes - it sounds nice.
