what is a fair price for this car?

i was thinking about £14k whether they accept that or not.

Have you got a part ex? Do you need finance?

If the answer to both is no I'd offer £13,750 with a years tax thrown in...

Have you called the dealer to see if they still have the car - sometimes cars show up that have been sold a while back. Stratstone group are known to do this alot.

EDIT - just noticed that this is with Park LANE doubt they will discount this at all.

Surely if he is taking finance he's more likely to get a discount as they want to sell you finance as well, as there is more margin in it?

I took the park lane 2006 one. The alloys looked new so they were either replaced or well buffed up. The car was ok, it was a lot less stiff than a 2007 one that I drove at chiswick for whatever reason. I offered them £14.5k cash, and they threw in one of the two freebies they are offering this month. I took the protect and seal package. I'm pleased enough overall. I notice the 2006 330i from Synter Birmingham has been discounted today.
