Door Handle Removal 3-Series help please

Could anyone advise me how to remove the exterior door handles on a 2001 3-series Touring please. Or point me in the right direction.

Think yours is the model before the facelift, but they are dead easy. Open the door and the inside edge about 3 inches above the door catch u will find a rubber gromet, it will be directly behind the exterior handle. Pop this out and you will find a allen headed bolt, unscrew this I think its 4 or 5mm cant really remember. The rear of the handle will then pop out, and now you the front part should wiggle free. A word of warning tho, keep the door open whilst you work on the handle.
