Z4 (2003) Ipod kit ?
Discussion
Hi, can anyone advise on an ipod kit for my my Z4 3.0i (2003)(E85). It has fitted as standard the Bmw Proffesional sat nav system, 6 disc c.d changer, Bluetooth phone prep.
I've just been to my local BMW dealer to enquire about a kit & upon entering my vin number, no kit is available for my car. The BMW parts guy says its either because my vehicle has the sat nav system fitted or because of its age.
I've tried doing a bit of research on this problem & have seen either people fitting AUX cables to there cars which im not sure if this would work on my car or various links mentioning the Denison Gateway Module that can be fitted. When i read up on there website it becomes a bit of a minefield as there are various options available & when i look at the compatability pdf sheet for BMW its totally baffling & still leaves me clueless.
Has anybody fitted an ipod kit to there Z4 with all the options i have listed. I know i can always revert to the FM tuner attachment but i've tried 2 different models & they drive me mad as the signal keeps cuttiing out & i end up turning my ipod off.
Any thoughts, help or advise would be gratefully received.

I've seen these recommended on http://www.z4-forum.com/forum/ though not fitted one myself. Many thanks for the response. I'd never heard of the Intravee system until now. I'll do a bit of reading up on it & check my car to see if its compatable cable wise etc.
I appreciate the suggestion about the parrott kit but don't really want to go this route as i already have the BMW bluetooth phone kit in my car & it works fine.
Having briefly skipped through some of the info on the Intravee system it certainly seems to do all thats needed.
