Exhaust Mods - E36 328i

Hi, Does anybody know if you can make exhaust mods e.g. decatting without affecting the ECU etc. Thanks in advance.

you can change/modify the exhaust without affecting the ECU so long as you dont change the position of the lambda sensors.
what exhaust modifications are you looking to do
the lambda sensors are fitted to the manifolds on the 328i, so if you are changing the manifold then make sure they have the bosses for the sensor fitted or you can get your local exhaust place to weld the bosses in
