Hi,

I have used several phones with my BMW bluetooth with no issues. About a month ago I got the HTC Sensation, paired it up and all was fine.

A couple of days ago I was in a call as normal and it dropped out, the phone was still in call , but BT and handsfree was not.

Since then on startup I see the TEL icon with the phone above it for a few seconds, then all it shows is:

- -
TEL

What is wierder, is when you now use the radio / CD / cd changer every 10secs ish there is a drop in audio to silence, then it picks back up.

No changes to the car at all.

Any ideas?

Speak to the dealer, it might be worth having a software update.

I would unplug the bluetooth unit in the boot and see if the audio drop outs stop.

Undo both connectors, the big white (or purple) one and the black optical connector, be a bit careful with that not to bend the green cables too much.

Cheers - came across similar on http://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=297... .

Big white one and black (with the red light) pulled and left, reconnected... same problem frown

Reading around it sounds like a commonish problem , is there any way to do a 'hard reset' of it all?

I have tried a battery pull but that had no effect.

My Dec '05 130 had a new radio fitted and was doing the cutout thing, also I lost
Parking sensors, cd changer and Bluetooth totally.

1 software update later and it's all working again. Took them 2days though!
