bmw 03 x5 door handle

Hi. Could anyone help.I have a 2003 X5 . the drivers door handle broke last year in the snow but although the handle woulnt open outside it would from the inside so i could open the door and repair the handle. now the passenger side door handle has broken but it wont open from outside or inside ! so i cant open the door to repair it. please can someone advise me on how to get the door open ?
