Winter wheels

Hi every one. Im looking for a set of wheels that I can fit to my car with winter tyres Would a set of 16'm wheels from a 2004 E60 fit on a 2006 530M Sport ? If not can anyone lead me to a set of wheels that would. I'm hoping for a set smaller than the ones fitted at the minute (19's) to help ease the pain when I have to pay for the winter tyres.

Think your safer with 17" wheels, not sure if 16's will clear the larger diameter discs on your car.

Check the sticker on the driver's door jamb to see if it lists a 16" wheel.

the 530d has smaller fronts discs than the 535d (324 vs 348 mm) so 16s might well fit.

16's will fit the E60 530D, I use a set of BMW 16" SE alloys on my car for winter use and run Pirelli Sottozero M&S tyres, they work however look rubbish in comarison to my summer 19" wheels.
