320D M 184 touring auto, any good?

I was going to go bigger engine, but now i think i am going to stay 320D for economy, boring i know..

I have sold my 06 320d Tourer M sport manual the weekend, and am looking at a 10 plate 320d Auto, i had an 08 177 auto as a loan car a while back, and thought it tremendous, are the 184's better still, or err worse?

I'm almost certain the LCI models all have stop/start so economy is noticeably better as well as the power hike. Nothing wrong with sticking with what you know and like IMO.

My car's a 177 Auto (E93) & I'm sure that the 184's don't have stop/start. The emissions & economy are supposed to be a little better though
