E60 Rear Pad Replacement
Discussion
Morning all.
Rear pads are required on my 2006 252d. I've done a million sets of pads over the years but never on a big BM.
As far as i've read i'll need some torx bits (anti tamper) and a caliper wind tool?
Is that all?
Now i think of it, are there any workshop manuals available for download for this car?
David.

Cool - are there one or 2 sensors? I read somewhere there may only be one.
Whilst googling i found this: http://tis.spaghetticoder.org/s/view.pl?1/08/41/51
Useful site.

I found, after changing mine that despite changing the pad wear sensor I couldn't reset the rear discs in the i-drive.
If you know how to do this using the menu accessed through pressing and holding the mileage reset button with the ignition key on but engine not started. Try leaving the key at pos 2 for a good 30+ secs before performing the reset.
If you knew this already I'll shut up and get my coat ;-)
