On a 320d M Sport...

I actually think this looks brilliant! Not sure a Fleet Manager would appreciate it though!

This 320d coupe has been for sale for at least 4 months: http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2692424.htm

Sorry, but IMO yellow has never been a colour for a BMW, especially an E90.

It doesn't look as outrageous on the E92 as it does on the E90 though.

I've seen a Phoenix Yellow E92 recently, and that looked good mind.

I think dakar yellow looks brilliant on E36, E46 and E92 coupes. Not sure about 4 doors.

I went to look at a Dakar Z3 M Coupe just to have a baseline for condition, mechanicals etc for my hunt for a car. Had no expectation of liking the colour but really did when I saw it in the flesh.

This car has now been in stock since it was de-fleeted at the beginning of the year. It's carrying a £500 bonus to the sales execs on it if I remember correctly!

Always thought Dakar was a lot lighter than that E90. I see an E92 in yellow a lot and it is definately a lighter shade than the E90 pics seem to show.

Yep, looks very dark in those pics. Maybe just the camera.

I 'believe' from memory it was a Dealer-Order being run as a demo for 6 months and was then defleeted (within the business I meant), but I'm not 100% on this so will check when i get into work in the morning. Could be getting confused with the Dakar Coupe which has also become somewhat of a vintage car in our stock.

Demo mileage varies drastically simply dependent on which exec is driving it, and how far away they live. One of my colleagues does about 6,000 miles in 3 months. If I was running a demo I'd probably do less than 1,000 - which incidentally is why I don't run one!

Yellow is a tricky colour to reproduce accurately in photo's/print.

It must be borderline insanity ordering such a car as a dealer demo biggrin can't imagine many people will be queuing up to buy it (saying that, I wouldn't mind a punt at it if I wasn't currently house hunting)

Fair play to whoever did it. Although, i'm sure one of the other unusual Individual colours like Santorini Blue might've been a better option smile

You don't say!

I started a thread back in mid-May and it still looks like it's not shifted!
