any 7 series turbos one here?

only a few videos on you tube, i could never afford to pump in 5-10k on a turbo kit for a 7 series, but surely someones done it in the u.k. maybe on a 740,750i? be a proper sleeper too for a straight line.

I'm not sure I see the point as the 7 series is already pretty good at what it does without turbo's.

At the end of the day it's a luxury cruiser that has a hint of sportiness to it's drive but it's not a sports car. For the vast majority of 7 series it would be quite a large outlay for something that's going to remain dormant for most the time.

Also, the fuel consumption on a 7 series is not exactly fantastic and turbo's are not going to help.

Now if you want the ultimate 7 series sleeper then you need to fit the 5.6 V12,manual gearbox and running gear from an 850 CSI!, then you too can be The Transporter!.

Yes but the turbo version is left hand drive only so limits your opportunities to make use of the turbo to a degree.

Right hand drive 745i's were South African cars and had a detuned 24-valve M88/3 M1 Motorsport engine fitted.

I've got a supercharger bolted on to my e65 if that counts :-)

Certainly takes most things by surprise as 500+bhp in a 2 tonne package bears down on them. Most addictive :-)
