Hullo all!
As the latest in a long string of BMWs (sad, isn't it?!) my father has just bought an E60 540i SE. He wanted something comfortable, and bought it despite its having 19" BBS Split rims (Type 101s) on it - they are like these (not my item): 101s on Ebay
He doesn't like them, and we're looking at alternatives - does anyone know where to get any? Ebay has disappointed so far. He is looking for 18" so that he has more tyre wall (low profiles are wrong in terms of both comfort and handling on UK roads). He'd go for 17", but the only ones on the E60 are skinny, so it's a trade-off between getting extra tyre wall, and maintaining a reasonable width for such a large car.
Does he have a hope in hell of getting type 89s, 123s or 124s? I can't find any anywhere, so am looking for suggestions or help!
