I own a 53 plate 330 E46 coupe (petrol) and I need to replace the battery.

The garage will cover the bill approx £50 (as long as I don't take the piss) and have left it to me to find a new one.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to which one to get? The car will not be driven a huge amount (mainly only at the w'ends).

Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you.

£50 for a battery for a 330i? Good luck - a decent battery appropriate to the car is circa £100.

I bought a battery for my 330i earlier in the year for about £60 from a local motor factors. I noticed that halfords were pretty expensive so avoided them.

That seems reasonable. I'd imagine there must be hundreds of different models out there to chose from!

I'd been advised that GSF or ECP websites are worth a look. Price seems to be around £80-90...

I have no idea if these are any good?
