Considered a bit of a "girls car" or not? Just wondering what peoples views are on them as a lot say that the Z3 was does anyone think the 4 has carried that on?

the Z4 is a brilliant car. Not a girls car at all.

I like mine.

It's not perfect, but with a few tweaks they can be made more focussed and 'manly'

My main 2p, get one with m-sport seats, so either an early car that had them fitted, or a later car in Si spec with them as standard (almost all late model Z4's in UK)

They transform the car as a 'driving' tool... I'd have got rid of my Z4 within the year as I really didn't get on with the visits of my bottom up the door or up the transmission tunnel during hard cornering, or hanging off the steering wheel to keep my shoulders in my half of the car with the standard items...

I have a 3.0i with a remus catback and it is lowered on Eibachs with 18" BBS Rims..

It is far from a girls car!!!!!!!!!

Z4 has a totally different image to the Z3 in my opinion. It is a proper sportscar, and in the right colour/spec a great looker..definitely not girly, although girls can look very hot driving them!..

Sticks.

Got that back to front, I think, given most women don't like the roof down as it spoils their hair it follows they'd choose he coupe wink

OP if image is your main factor in choosing a car, you may well not enjoy driving whatever you buy. Try some, buy what you enjoy driving.

Conmpletely disagree! I had a 2011 2.3Sdrive Roadster as a courtesy car for a week and it was very much an alpha male sports car. Part of me wishes I'd bought that instead of the 330 but just not practicle if you need space.

Love the Z4 - awesome car!
