Tell me what my car's worth

I'm looking to sell my current car privately in the next few weeks but don't know what to put it up at.

318ti sport compact
Imola Red / alcantara
1 owner / registered Oct 04 / 61K miles / FBMWSH / just MOTd & taxed
I would say very good condition as just had alloys refurbed and body machine polished

Searched on internet and Parkers value it at £4200, What Car at £5200 and Network Q reeckon its £3400 as a trade-in

Should I go for somewhere in the middle?

Most cars aren't making the book price, so that £3400 could be £3000.
What Car? and Parkers I've found can be very optimistic still.
Compare against similar ones on eBay & Auto Trader, but reduce since it's private sale.
At a guess, I'd say £3850-4000 should generate interest and/or a quick sale.

Should make around £4k'ish I reackon,so advertise at about £4250 or chance your arm for a week at £4500

The model,it being a 318 & a Sport if you look around make it pretty rare, but what will really sell it is the colour, along with 1owner FBMWSH etc

When i advertised this for a friend a about 2 1/2yrs ago we got nigh on a grand more than the black/silver/Blue cars (was abt £9k IIRC) again we had the wheels refurbed and had it looking on its toes.1st person to view bought and travelled over 150miles purely because of the colour.......If I had the cash I'd be changing the other halfs crappy A3 for it, sounds just what i'd like!
