BMW dealer email addresses
Discussion
Hi All,
I am trying to build up a bit more detail around the service history of my new M3. When I bought it I only received the service books with stamps in. Prior to buying the car I checked the history with BMW Customer services who confirmed that the car had attended the correct dealers on the dates in the service book so I could confirm the servicing stamps were legit. Unfortunately, customer services can only confirm when the car visited a dealer not what work was carried out. I have no invoices for any work and the car appears to have been to a dealer on two other occasions for (I presume repair or warranty work).
Now I wanted to email the dealers concerned (Hexagon and Chandlers Worthing) to ask them nicely if they would send me copies of the invoices or at the very least confirm what work was carried out. However, I cannot find an email address for either of them on their websites. Does anyone know where I might find the email addresses?
Thanks...Ralph

Ring 'em up and ask them!
Be warned however that dealers hate these type of calls, not because they are unhelpful but because of the time it takes to find the info, especially if the car has not been to them in some time. A smaller dealer like Chandlers will have 2/300 calls a day into the service department, a big city dealer like Hexagon many more. They just don't have the time!
Try just asking for the email address, and wait for a reply (it won't be the same day!)
Also be aware that most dealers will want some sort if identification from you before releasing details, as cloning cars/ service histories is all too common especially something like an M3. You might need written permission from the previous owners before getting copies of their invoices. They should be happy to confirm info you already have though.
Hard copies of paperwork are generally only kept for 2 years(usually archived off site)and computer cleansing only leaves the most basic details (visit date, mileage) as BMW have already confirmed to you.
Good luck!
