I'm about to order a new 740d M sport on lease...

The car is going to be Alpine white with the 20" alloys on it....

Now the part that I cannot decide upon i what colour interior to go for....

Im going for Piano black trim ( or maybe Anthracite Ash grain)

Now the choices are these:

Alpine white with black interior - nice enough, but the black interior is a bit dull looking...a bit too coprorate for me....

Alpine white with saddle brown interior...now this is one tasty looking interior..Ive seen a few pics on forums, and it looks stunning, the sadlle brown being a kind of tan colour)....only thing is Im not sure if it will go with Alpine white

Final choice is: Alpine white with Berrique Red inteior....this is nice and the red is a very maroony red, only problem is I havnt managed to see any proper pics of this interior, amd the configurator doesnt really capture the tone of the colour

So, opinions, and pics please!

Im a big fan of coloured bmw interiors, so much so my 1 series is white with the coral red leather, i went with the polished aluminium trim to give it a bit more interest, only ever had positive comments.

I like the tan trim, so that would be my choice.

Having previously owned an E90 M3 Saloon which was white and had red fox novillo leather I would encourage you to go for the red interior.

Out of all the cars i've owned that colour combo was by far the best and always got positive comments from everyone.

Good luck with whatever you decide to go for and make sure you post pics when you get it.

Well as its on Lease you wont be worried about residual value, which is just as well because mentioning Saddle Brown or the red on a 7 series sends a shiver down a sales executives spine ( I would know) Personally I think brown can work really well with the Alpine white (and either Black Sapphire or Space Grey) the piano Black trim is lovely too. I havent seen the red other than on samples either and I cant remember BMW putting iton any of their press cars either (that might tell you something there). Piano Black and Black leather is a bit too dark especially with the anthracite headlining on the M-Sport

I have the beige full leather in the X5, having always had black interiors before and this looks great - much less gloomy. The top of the dash is black leather and the lower part is beige leather, like the seats. The hard trim is dark bamboo. I'll try to take some shots tomorrow.

Black works well in sports cars, but I think bigger cars need a touch of lighter colour. I should have gone for a lighter interior in my (now sold) M5.

Go for the red with piano. Are you sure about White exterior on such a large car though? Would look a bit police car IMO

Isn't the red leather a 4k option? Normally the cost of options is just spread across the duration of the lease...

Thanks, I also came across this pic, but it appears to be in strong light, so it is difficult to get a proper feel of the colour...

So far, Alpine white/saddle brown is the strongest contender......

you are never going to get a proper feel for the colour on a pc screen. Surely BMW dealer has a decent piece of the leather?

They had a piece of the leather, but it is insufficient to get a feel of how the whole interior would look if covered in it......

thats a poor show, been years since I've been in a BMW dealer. In the Porsche centres they have a couple of feet of each leather so you can drape it over a car

That's rather nice. I'd go with that TBH.

Looks good with the silver, might be a bit sombre with piano black

I've never liked silver trim...it has to be either the dark anthracite wood or P.Black.....

The red does look nice, but I think it is a touch dark for my liking....

I've just sold my 535d M Sport which had the most beautiful platinum (individual) leather...very light cream colour, and gave the cabin a nice airey feel...
