Afternoon.

I test drove a 2010 320d M Sport (auto) today and really liked it. This one had the later revised engine with 184 bhp

I have seen a car I like which is also a 2010 model but has the previous engine which is 177bhp.

There is also a smal torque difference between the two 380 v 350

Has anyone driven both and is there a noticeable difference between them?

I assume that having the 177 model mapped would fix any gap anyway (but obviously the 184 would be higher still when mapped)?

Thanks

I would go for the 184 tbh. Just because it's a 184 and has more torque too.

Some remap figures.

MPG and CO2 are much better from the later engine so the tax banding is lower too.

Thanks guys. Lots of the newer ones around so will look for one of the later ones.

Try a 177 ... I had one and it was great. I am sure the newer one will be better ... and I always tend to go for the newest technology I can ... but the older one is hardly an old design and is cheap on fuel and tax.

Also the guys on www.e90post.com have been getting discounts of up to 25% on new cars, so a brand new 320d m-sport with nav for £23k.
Makes the 58 plate cars at £23k look very expensive.

Maube worth looking in there and asking where they paid that??
