Hi all, first post from a lurker so please be gentle ( or I'll creep back to my hole )

I'm looking to purchase a 2009 (59) 520d without the above (according to the listing) and I was wondering as the screen is already there, if the BMW Connected Drive-Assist, Drive-Online and Navigation System can be added later either via BMW or other sources.
I've had a general search but I'm not finding anything so any help would be appreciated

would be more cost effective to get one with it in the first place. Can be retrofitted but you're talking big bucks, around 2k plus.

The NAV equipped ones have a wider screen iirc. It's doable but hellishly expensive and a lot of hassle as the poster above says. Almost certainly cheaper and easier to find a car with nav. It's not like there aren't plenty of 520d's about.
