Hi all

What are your thoughts on the 1 Series M Sports, eg 123d M Sport, and the fact that satnav / full leather etc are rare specs

coming from e46 330ci's I thought it important for leather / electric / satnav in terms not of my preferences but for resale potential

best I can find is the half-leather, no satnav, manual adjust seats, but with looked-after examples, low miles, bluetooth, upgraded breaks etc etc

im stuck in terms of waiting for the right spec to come along, need a car pretty soon

cheers

I've got a friend selling a 123d at the mo. His has everything apart from the sat nav. Its got the full leather, heated seats, ipod, Harmon Kardon, bluetooth, MSport 5 spoke wheels. If you're interested then let me know! Its a 2010 and he's been owner since new (was his company car and then he bought it off company)

Its on Pistonheads! Here is the link!

I can vouch for how clean this car is!!!

Other than perhaps the 135i you'll find most 1 Series aren't specced to the hilt, possibly because most are either ex BMW staff cars where they seem to be guided on what options they can and can't chose, or they're an ex company car looking to hit a budget.

The resale argument on say a top end 3 or 5 Series is valid because most potential buyers would expect Sat Nav and Leather etc so you'll be severely limiting your potential buyers without them, but when most cars don't have the options as is the case with the 1 Series, then you're unlikely to suffer in the same way because potential buyers that insist on them will be the exception rather than the norm on that type of car.

PS this needs moving to BMW General!
